Finally, a beautiful day.. and a beautiful save!

So glad to finally have a nice sunshiny day! There has been too much rain lately.
It's no fun :(
For a while there it was looking like the world really WAS coming to an end... haha
So I found this picture. Thought it was pretty funny.

Here is some more pictures of the chicken coop.  It is coming along great.
He is pretty close to being done..

Here are the trusses he built.. what a stud :)

Here is the shingles he got for FREE!

I also have a cool little story.. I was at walmart grocery shopping yesterday and when I went to check out, the lady in front of me was a real life extreme couponer! She had the whole binder thing set up, tons of coupons and it took forever for her to check out.  I asked her a few questions about couponing.. got some good advice. On that trip she saved $120! She bought over $200 worth of groceries and got them for 88 bucks. That's cool. So then I get up there with my 3 coupons and felt like an amateur. But I doubled my coupons and felt pretty awesome! Haha I guess walmart doubles coupons ONLY on Tuesdays ONLY in Utah County and ONLY up to one dollar. But hey, it's better than nothin'!

AAAhhhhh!!

Yup, this is exactly how I felt when my last post completely got erased. It's a bummer.. I guess blogger had a system breakdown and lots of posts were deleted :(

So Ricky has started on the chicken coop.  He spent ALL day Saturday working on it.  It is looking really great.  I honestly didn't know how great of a builder my husband is! We also stopped at a couple of yard sales on Saturday when we had the Home Depot truck rental. It was great... we got quite a few things for only 2 bucks! hehe I love that... yard sales are fun.

So here is some pictures of Ricky working on the coop.

Looking good so far, eh?!

I also tied a fleece blanket for Valerie. It was really fun to make... this is how it turned out :)

And just for the heck of it I wanted to post this fun picture I found. I believe it is in Belgium...

Cool, huh?!
